It's A Tracy Beaker Nation

WELCOME TO THE UK
Episode #2
Sitting way too close to the TV

Think

  • Garden drinking

  • Playing in the park

  • House parties 🎉

  • Sleepovers,

  • Drinking alcopops in the park

  • Making our cocktail concoctions (Most undrinkable)

Community was huge, always in and out of friends' and neighbours’ houses, spending endless hours playing on the streets. Games like gulley, tag, and rounders were a staple of childhood. And of course, there was the mad dash home to ensure you didn’t miss Tracey Beaker on CBBC (or Hannah Montana if you were “rich” enough to have Disney Channel).

Early mornings meant grabbing your cereal and watching Arthur or your favourite shows before getting ready. It was all about those little moments that made growing up in the uk so special.

~The Alcopop Drinker

Can You Relate?

  • Yes 🥳

  • Kind Of 🥴

  • No, I weren't drinking Alcopop 😂😂

What does it really feel like to grow up in the UK? This series is a collection of anonymous, personal reflections from people across the UK. Each post offers a glimpse into someone’s childhood their identity, their community, and the things that made them feel like they belonged (or didn’t).

Some stories are heartfelt, some hilarious, some nostalgic all 100% real.
